Our university is working on editing a new version of this one literary dictionary. I've been thinking about it a lot, and yesterday while I was drifting off I came up with a new literary term. It was called "Chekhov's penis" and involved that thing where your female main character will most likely get married to the first male main character introduced in a book. I dunno man.

Also, my recording for the radio documentary? I got so bored recording them that I pretty much just set up the microphone and sat in a corner rocking out to More Than a Feeling for the last session. It really shows; I recorded a bunch of bullshit without noticing. Don't care! Can still use it.

The local (I say "local" I mean "Kingston") odeon is doing a competition to celebrate the new Twilight movie coming out. You have to rewrite the movie's ending to support whichever "team" you ship.

I have been challenged to write an ending for team "Bella grows up and realises that they're all idiots and goes to university and makes something of herself".

Antonio and Joydene made me come get subway with them and oh man I LOVE MY FRIENDS (yes that had to be capslocked). We basically just sat around chatting shit about nanowrimo, doctor who and twilight and it was so much fun.

Then after that

I MET KATE ADIE OMG AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I have her autograph now (AAAAAAHHHHHHHH).

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW HER: she's a very famous bbc reporter, always sent out to warzones and stuff and AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH it was so inspiring and awesome and idsjslkajaskjifdddpaskdsal I CAN BARELY THINK STRAIGHT eeeeeeeee so awesome!! She gave a lecture on journalism and publishing and hahahaha she started off the lecture talking about punching nuns and publishers - THIS IS THE MOST BAMF LITTLE OLD LADY EVER my god it was absolutely riveting. And it really was inspiring; she was talking about human beings finding strength in difficult situations, full-out grief and why we can't show it on british tv, situations where she's had to watch a bomb disposal man walk towards a possible bomb because there's no other way to disarm it, the civil war and how domestic reporters can't refer to it as such and lsakds sdsadsl.

I took so many notes about human reactions to situations in which they need to survive omg. I love it.

ALSO I BOUGHT HER BOOK AND GOT IT SIGNED it was a little embarrassing I was so nervous I said my name so quiet even I couldn't hear it, but she still got it!

Gosh, I think I need to go find somewhere to calm down.

Got lunch with Antonio and Kris today! It was super fun. Then we hung around for a couple of hours, and me and Antonio chatted about south America (both of our mothers come from there) while Kris looked at backpacks and stuff.

Shit, Capesizers! The plot just got a thousand times more convoluted in my head on the way home! Well okay not a thousand times. But I am excited! This is my first time crafting such a big story, and I want it to be perfect and I want to babble and plot with people, but at the same time Iiii also love springing things on people and watching them puzzle things out - like in chan the other night when Val asked where the bodies were, and it all spiralled from there, hahaha. I love it. So I don't want to reveal anything until the last minute, even when I'm all "eeeeeeeeeee" about it.

I need to remember to do a bunch of shit tomorrow, but right now is a time for vegging. AAAAHHHH thank you, end of week from hell.
